Abstract

In this research article Ghazal is discussed as a genre.Ghazal is one of the most popular types of poetry. Since the birth much more is written about its fun.But still  many contradictions can be found about its definition and quality.Through this article,a great struggle is made to remove a lot of ambiguities. Urdu poetry is modeled after Persian, and therefore, it is sung in the analogy of Arabic poems. It can be said that the Persian ghazal is a copy of the Arabic, although the introduction or simile in which the love stories were described was continuous and the subject of each verse of the Persian ghazal is different, nevertheless, the ghazal is an important genre of poetry. Ghazal has developed in different periods and got out of the narrowness of love subjects and today all kinds of subjects are described in it.
