Abstract

Qaseeda is an ancient term.It was dominent in 18th & 19th century in Urdu. However, with the decline of Mughal's reign it was non- existent.In this article the introduction and experience to the leading subjects has been presented. This is important so now recerch  work about Qaseeda Nigari is less in quantity.This article can be helpful for the students of literature who are serious and work about the research task related to this term. To write this essay, the books published in 20th century are ransacked and useful material is utilized. The main subject of the Qaseeda is Madh or Dhim. In the early Arabic poetry, the qasida was very broad. It includes the daily life of the poets, personal experiences, incidents of love, country conditions and natural scenes, etc. The poets were very zealous.
