Withdrawal Policy for the Journal of Urdu Literature and Indigenous Languages
- Withdrawal of Manuscripts
Authors may withdraw their manuscripts from the Journal of Urdu Literature and Indigenous Languages at any stage of the review process, up to the point of final acceptance for publication. However, withdrawals after submission will require a written justification from the corresponding author.
- Reasons for Withdrawal
Authors may withdraw their manuscripts for various reasons, including:
- A significant change in the research findings or methodology
- Discovery of a prior publication or submission with substantial overlap
- Ethical concerns related to the research
- Personal or professional circumstances that prevent the author from completing the manuscript or participating in the review process
- Notification of Withdrawal
Authors must notify the journal editors of their decision to withdraw their manuscript by sending an email to [email protected] The email should clearly state the manuscript title, corresponding author's name, and the reason for withdrawal.
- Handling of Withdrawn Manuscripts
Upon receiving a withdrawal request, the journal editors will remove the manuscript from the review process and notify any reviewers who have been assigned to the manuscript. The manuscript will not be considered for publication in the journal.
- Implications of Withdrawal
Withdrawing a manuscript will not affect the author's future submissions to the Journal of Urdu Literature and Indigenous Languages. However, authors are encouraged to provide a brief explanation for their withdrawal if they intend to resubmit the manuscript to another journal.
