Refunds for Article Processing Charges (APCs)

General Policy

Journal of Urdu Literature and Indigenous Languages(JULIL) Journal is committed to providing high-quality services to its authors. However, we understand that there may be situations where a refund is necessary. This refund policy outlines the circumstances under which a refund will be issued for article processing charges (APCs).

Refunds for Accepted Articles

A full refund of the APC will be issued if the article is withdrawn before it has been accepted for publication. If an article is accepted for publication but then withdrawn before the publication process is complete, a 50% refund of the APC will be issued. No refunds will be issued for articles that have been published.

Refunds for Rejected Articles

A full refund of the APC will be issued if the article is rejected without peer review. If an article is rejected after peer review, a 50% refund of the APC will be issued.

Refunds for Duplicate Submissions

If an article is submitted to (Journal of Urdu Literature and Indigenous Languages) Journal and then submitted to another journal, a full refund of the APC will be issued.

Refunds for Errors by the Journal

If (Journal of Urdu Literature and Indigenous Languages) Journal makes an error that results in the need for a refund, a full refund of the APC will be issued.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact the journal's editorial office at [email protected] Please include the following information in your request:

  • Your name and email address
  • The title of the article
  • The date the article was submitted
  • The date the article was accepted or rejected
  • The reason for requesting a refund

Refund Processing Times

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving a request. The refund will be issued to the original payment method.
