Indian local Aesthetics in Nazir Akbarabadi's Poetry

Abstract

Nazir Akbarabadi has made the details of Indian society a part of his poems with great beauty. Indian local objects, customs, religious festivals, daily activities, public fairs, and moral values have been included in his poems with great elegance and grace. This is the reason that in Nazir Akbarabadi, we find the atmosphere of Indian locality to the utmost degree, from which he has also distilled aesthetic beauty. One of his greatest gifts is that he has kept the language very simple and flowing. So that the people can easily understand his speech and Rooh has been successful in this to a great extent. Nazir Akbarabadi has skillfully made Indian culture a part of his poems. There are many examples where they have adopted the Indian culture in a very integrated and consistent manner. How many harmonious and moving conditions are there in Kalam Nazir for both Tarbiya and Ralmia۔
