Abstract

Whenever a person looks at natural phenomena, on the first level he enjoys the phenomena and then on the second level his curiosity is awakened within him. A discovery is made, and as a result of this discovery, nature opens itself to him. Man becomes confused because of this. In Sarwat Hussain's poems, there is a feeling of being mesmerized by natural phenomena. Along with this charm, they also have a state of bewilderment. Sarwat Hussain's poems mention all such natural phenomena which are a must of the ancient world like horse is a symbol of ancient civilization. In this ancient civilization, there was a close relationship between man and nature. One of his poems mentions this tragedy in the death of a horse. They call the death of the horse actually the death of the ancient civilization.
